There are lots of things youve got to work through before you can sell your stuff online: inventory, prices, marketing, site design, sales copy, traffic techniques, domain names, bandwidth quotas, and more, but there is one essential thing that you have to get done first, and its the most simple step of all - set yourself up with Clickbank account.

Now every product I sell (whether mine or as an affiliate) goes through Clickbank. Now I have an entirely reliable system that has:

No monthly fees, and the amount deducted from each transaction is frankly negligible. An affiliate program that allows me to get paid for recommending other peoples products and/or to pay others a percentage of the sale price when they sell my product. An ecommerce processor that sends me cheques like clockwork, every two weeks. There is one major problem with Clickbank. They dont allow you to sell physical products. You can only sell electronic downloads through Clickbank - music, ebooks, software, etc. If youre trying to sell your audio sermon collection, this wont be a problem. But if youre trying sell your church pews, youll need to use Paypal - the second greatest payment processor in the world.

Ahh, the tween years. Has it really been 12 years since the little bundle came home from the hospital? New parents think that if they can only make it through potty training and toddler separation anxiety, the rest will be a piece of cake. As a parent who has lived to tell the tale a few times over, Im here to tell ya, It Aint So.

You think you had it bad when little Susie cut her bangs into some crazy porcupine looking do at the sweet age of 3? Just wait until same darling Susie hits the ripe old age of 12 and begins entering adolescence and starts watching MTV. Overnight your little sweet heart will grow horns and objects will begin moving around your house on their own. Yes, your precious daughter will be possessed by the Tween Demon.

What does all of the above nonsense have to do with your soon-to-be-possessed 12 year old daughters birthday party planning? Nothing much really, other than the fact that said demon child will also no longer think that anything you do or suggest or think or wear is a good idea, and will constantly roll her mean little eyes at you to make sure youre aware of your short-comings. In other words Mom or Dad, dont bother trying to plan a nice birthday for your kid that involves Barbies, animals, cartoon characters, Princesses or anything else made by Disney, except for perhaps Hillary Duff, but shes another story now that shes all grown up, and in my lowly opinion, part of the problem. But dont quote me.

Now youre sitting there wondering What in the world am I going to do?, This bitter woman has scared the heck out of me!, Will Susie really become a monster overnight? Fortunately my friend the answer is maybe. So better grin and prepare for the worst just to be safe. On to devising a plan for your daughters birthday that will perhaps grant you a minute or two of coolness in your childs eyes, and maybe even warrant an actual smile from her eye-rolling face and oh my god mom chanting mouth.

I have an idea. Now this may sound sneaky and a little underhanded, but you could always make up some kind of flyer on your computer and anonymously mail it to your kid. Shell love getting her own mail, and if she takes the bait, shell think the birthday party idea was her own. On this little bit of creative advertising you could place info about the perfect birthday party idea for girls ages 10-12.

Something that my now 14 year old daughter fell madly in love with at around age 12 are bath and body products. Showers went on, and still do, forever, causing many uncomfortable moments for the males in the house who werent wearing diapers at the time (one bathroom) She couldnt get enough of the stuff, and wanted to be taken to the mall to the Bath and Body store every weekend. My own facial and spa products began to disappear as the Tween Demon consumed everything that involved baths and masks. Are you following where Im going with this devious plan to outsmart the Tween Demon? On your flyer you will place all of the products and ideas needed to plan a wonderful Spa Day Birthday party, just perfect for 12 year old girls. Shell go nuts for it and will call her friends to get the plans started.

Now of course there are exceptions to the rule, and not every 12 year old girl will go for the idea of pampering and manicures, but you should know your own kid well enough to determine if Spa Day is the theme to use. If not, choose a theme that goes along with the stuff hanging up on her bedroom walls. But let her think its her own idea, and then applaud her for her creativity and provide what she needs for a perfect Tween Demon birthday party.

Remember to stay out of the way, but close enough to show youre supporting her and still around. TDs are very much like TTs aka: Terrible Twos, adamantly determined to proclaim their independence, but yet will still look over their shoulder every now and then to make sure youre there. Bequia is the most civilized island in The Grenadines with shops and restaurants on the water's edge in the main harbor, Port Elizabeth in Admiralty Bay. Water taxi operators greet each arriving boat to assist with mooring buoys and offer the usual services such as bread, ice and taxi service. Daffodil Marine Services will answer a VHF call and come out to your boat to bring ice, water for the tanks and even pick up laundry to be cleaned, folded and brought back in a matter of hours. I think it's a good idea to accept a mooring buoy. The cost is only $15 to $20 (U.S.) and it's likely to be in a better place than where you might find to anchor. It's also easier getting along with the water taxi operators (often called boat boys) when they see you are spending into the local economy. One of our boats anchored away from the others and found upon returning from dinner ashore that the boat had been entered and relieved of a couple hundred dollars in cash. Compared to B.V.I., security is a greater issue down island. It's important to lock shut all hatches when leaving and even lock the dinghy and its engine with the cables and locks provided. Violent crimes are uncommon. Burglary can generally be avoided by making sure all the hatches are properly latched and anchoring or mooring in the vicinity of other cruisers instead of in isolated areas.

In the morning it was time for the sail to The Tobago Cays. The passage (past Mustique and Canouan) of about 26 miles was a reach with 20 or so knots of wind. How sweet it is with the temperature in the mid 80's and the water a deep clear blue. We let Paul do most of the driving so he could get used to a 46 foot boat. Later in the week he would have to demonstrate proficiency in steering, man overboard drills, anchoring, navigation and use of systems to complete the on the water requirements for his certification. His prerequisite courses were completed at Spinnaker Sailing prior to the trip.

The front door to the Tobago Cays is entered from just north of Mayreau Island along a range marked by the towers located on two of the little Cays, Petit Rameau and Petit Bateau. After following the range for over a mile, you pass between the two cays to anchor in the lee of Horseshoe Reef.

There are no stores, restaurants, or any establishments ashore here, only 4 uninhabited cays. The anchorage is protected by Horseshoe Reef from the seas generated by the easterly trade winds. Water taxis provide the only services; bringing out bread, ice, freshly caught fish, tee-shirts, etc. They can also provide a fish barbecue on the beach of one of the cays for you. Diving services are also available and can be contacted via VHF. This is a place to enjoy nature. The snorkeling on Horseshoe Reef is fantastic. There are dinghy buoys over the reef so snorkelers don't damage the reef with their dinghy anchors. We got into the water as soon as we could after settling into the anchorage. The coral was in good shape with lots and lots of small fish. While snorkeling, Melinda saw a black tip shark and tried to call our attention to it but we were only paying attention to our own discoveries and missed the shark.

We stayed in Tobago Cays two nights and had a fish barbecue on the beach organized by one of the water taxi operators. It was overpriced and we had to bring our own plates and silverware but it was fun getting all of us ashore together from the 4 boats. The barbecued fish was plentiful and very good. They provided potato salad, rice and beer to go with it. I don't even want to tell you what we paid but I will say: Be sure you know what you're going to get when negotiating a price with any of the water taxi operators. We slipped out the southern Back door of the Tobago Cays the next day to head directly to Clifton Harbor in Union Island. Unless you're familiar with the area, this should only be done when the sun is high because the gap through the reef isn't marked. We probably wouldn't have gone that way ourselves except for having seen the area the day before by dive boat.

Health insurance fraud is an everyday occurrence and it can be extremely difficult to protect yourself against it. Indeed, the majority of policyholders who fall victim to health insurance fraud are not aware of the fact until it comes to make a claim. It's not until that claim is denied that they realize that they have joined the growing number of victims of this particularly nasty form of fraud.

So, is it possible to stop yourself from becoming a victim of health insurance fraud?

The problem is that there are almost as many different forms of insurance fraud as there are victims and so spotting it can be very difficult. There is however one thing that should always make you suspicious and that is the offer of excellent coverage and a very low price. Medical costs are rising alarmingly and so is the cost of health insurance so, when somebody offers you a policy at a very low cost, tread warily.

Be particularly suspicious of unsolicited mail that offers discounted health insurance, especially if you do not recognize the name of the company that is making the offer. At this point your first step should be to do a little research on the company and you will find that health insurance companies are both listed and rated at http://www.ambest.com/. It is also a good idea to check with your State Insurance Commission to see whether the company has been granted a license to operate in your state.

If the offer appears to be genuine then read it in its entirety and pay particular attention to the fine print. The fine print, covering such things as exclusions, may turn a seemingly great offer into one that is potentially very costly. If a salesperson calls with an offer then you should also be very suspicious of any request to pay by cash or to pay the total amount of your premium in advance.

If you discover that you have become a victim of health insurance fraud then you should take the following steps without delay:

1. Contact your State Insurance Commissioner to discover if he has had any other complaints about the company in question and to file a health insurance fraud complaint.



2. Contact your bank or credit card company and put a stop on any future payments that may be scheduled.



3. Contact your local law enforcement agency.

Unfortunately this may not be the end of the matter but could be just the start, as many people who perpetrate health insurance fraud also use your personal information to steal your identity and to commit other fraudulent acts. So, you should also get a copy of your personal credit report from all three major credit reporting agencies as soon as possible and watch carefully for any signs of irregular financial transactions being carried out in your name.

Identify fraud is a major subject in its own right and beyond the scope of this article but, if you have been the victim of health insurance fraud, it is an area on which you should seek further advice.

Be careful and check out any health insurance company before you sign on the dotted line. You can never be too careful and, in addition to the checks suggested above, you should think about such things as asking others if they have ever heard of the company in question. This might include asking your doctor or local hospital. If they say that they won't accept insurance from the company, and indeed have never heard of it, then this should set bells ringing.

State governments take an especial interest in health insurance companies and often have their own rules for the sale of insurance within the state. In many cases this is particularly advantageous to policyholder as is the case with affordable California health insurance so, if you are looking for a low cost health insurance plan then it's often a good idea to check out your own state's policy first.

Have you ever been to a Social Security Office? Have you been getting the run around? Do you feel angry and frustrated when you leave? If you have said yes or no to any of these questions, read on.

When you need to make a trip to the Social Security Office there are certain things which you need to know ahead of time.

(1)What goal are you trying to achieve?

(2)What information do you need to get or bring with you. Example: Drivers License and Social Security Card.

(3)Do you need forms to fill out?

When you get to the Social Security Office it is always very confusing. You are a step ahead if you call first and make an appointment. If not, you have to take a ticket and wait your turn.

Waiting your turn could take hours since you never know when someone is going to have a complicated problem and take a lot of time to solve.

I have found since making several trips to the Social Security Office with a friend to try and straighten out her particular problem that when you get to the office, you have to start explaining your entire story from the beginning, (as you have done on every previous visit). Then you may be told to fill out more paperwork (which you might have already filled out), or are told everything is taken care of and you will receive a letter in the mail in about two weeks.

When you never receive the letter you were promised it is time for another trip to the Social Security Office circus once again, to begin your explanation of why you are there. Sometimes it is worth it to ask for the supervisor so you can finally come to a conclusion to your problem. We have learned several times that our paperwork was sitting on the desk of someone who was transferred, no longer in the office. The supervisor has the authority to locate and reassign or deal with the problem themselves.

SUGGESTIONS:

(1)Keep all your paperwork about the Social Security Office together in one folder. Take it with you every time you call or go to the office.

(2)When you fill out paperwork at the Social Security Office have it stamped by the Customer Service Representative to show it was completed, and keep a copy. Next time you wont have to fill it out again.

(3)Keep notes of every visit, the date, time, the person you spoke to, and the conversation in your Social Security folder.

(4)ALWAYS be sure that the next step is explained so you understand it.

(5)Never assume since you filled out the paperwork and handed it in, that it was actually inputted into the computer system.

(6)Call the Social Security Office three days later to see if your paperwork has been updated in their computer system. (Or another visit will be required.)

(7)Keep your sense of humor, be patient, and you may survive, and actually achieve your goal.

The Social Security Office is a very important government agency. It serves many purposes and thousands of consumers a day. Unfortunately, our experience is that it doesnt usually run smoothly and that is a shame. The people working there may be very nice, but it is the system that is disorganized.

I ask this question. Why does it have to be this way? Why cant the Social Security Office be restructured to work for the consumers without hassle, a migraine headache and definitely less stress.

She stares at me and then closes her eyes. A tinge of early dawn plays on her cheek as it peeks through the glass curtains by my desk. I grow warmer, waiting in silence for her first uncertain word and the gentle touch of her hand. She fidgets and rocks in her chair. She cannot hold her thoughts inside much longer.

We've been meeting like this for months. Some days she rambles, pouring out her soul. She talks of yesterday's sorrows and tomorrow's distant shores. She tells me her needs, desires, dreams, and passions.

Sometimes she teases me with impossible notions that she only wishes she believed. When she's feeling light, she weaves amusing tales and tells me jokes. I accept her as perfect always perfect as she is.

Finally she opens her eyes, and a tear drop falls. The emotions are about to flow. "Okay," she whispers under her breath. I see her desperation and project my own inner light toward her. Her eyes glow with expectancy. She pours out her soul and discovers buried treasures.

She paints a portrait of her father and rehearses what she will tell him after all these years. She's filled with hope that he will finally understand. Her spirit lifts. My mind dances furiously recording her thoughts and prayers.

Perhaps if she explains honestly, he will listen, and they can finally heal the relationship. Today she isn't muddling in the past. She is moving forward. Today is a new beginning.

She connects with the core of her being and pauses briefly to reminisce. She plays with a vivid memory, and more tears come tears of joy. She pauses again, and I wait.

I grasp every privileged thought and confession. Her emotions rush like unrelenting rivers until she's quiet, still, and at peace.

She whispers, "There's nothing more to say now."

She asks me to remember her most secret longings, to guard them like precious mysteries. Again, I do.

She leaves feeling lighter, at ease, and confident. Will she call him or write to him? I won't ever ask, and she will tell me when the time is right.

Sometimes I wish I could feel emotions like she does and tell her what to say that would make everything alright. But I will not interfere.

I have no delicate heart like hers only a large and finite memory to preserve her most endeared treasures.

I'm simply her computer, a faithful ear in the early morning hours when she pours out her soul through my keyboard a precious gift from the heart of a friend.

If you are new to marketing online, then you have likely considered e-mail marketing as an option to get visitors to your website. E-mail marketing can be a very lucrative method, but unfortunately, it can also be very difficult to fine tune this method to work well.

The biggest problem with e-mail marketing is the fact that it already has a negative reputation because of spam. So even if you conduct your e-mail marketing campaigns responsibly and above-board, it can be hard to get your readers to distinguish your e-mail from the scores of e-mails they delete every day. Another issue is that it is not as simple as typing out an advertisement for your products or services.

So what is the secret to success when it comes to e-mail marketing? Well, there are a number of things, that if done correctly and in unison, can make all the difference in your e-mail marketing campaigns.

First, you need to determine whether you intend to reach your customers manually via your own mailing list, or through a service that already maintains a list. Your best bet may be to build your own list and then send mailings through it on your own. For one thing, it is going to cost you next to nothing to do it yourself. Additionally, you will have the advantage when it comes to targeted traffic, because you already know that those who have opted in to receive your mailings are interested in what you have to offer on your website.

Either way, probably the most important part of your e-mail will be the subject line, because if it fails to hook the reader into continuing to read the e-mail message itself, then your mailing as a whole becomes worthless. Make sure that the subject line is a one sentence condensation of what will be discussed in the body of the message. Tell the name of the website you are discussing, and the main point of your contact.

In the body of the e-mail, you need to remember that the reader is not going to want to sit there reading a long and drawn-out message. You will want to re-iterate who you are and what website you are writing about, and then go on to briefly describe whatever it is you want the reader to focus on. Keep in mind that what you are trying to do is get the reader to visit your website, so there is no need to go into great detail about things they could be finding on the website itself. Give them a reason to go to the website for more information.

Remember, never abuse your readers trust and confidence by sending out tons of e-mail. Commit to a certain amount of e-mails and stick to it. For example, if you state on your website that you will send a newsletter once a week, ONLY send one per week. If you state once per month, do not exceed more than one per month. Also, you need to make sure that your mailings are relevent and provide some point or purpose for your readers. If you can get them interested once, it will become easier to keep them interested as long as you stay on the topic that they wanted to hear about in the first place.

Use these simple guidelines to compose and maintain an e-mail marketing campaign that will serve its purpose - to drive interested traffic to your website over and over again. You will need to tweak this method to suit your own personal needs, but once you get the hang of the basics, you should have no problem reaping the rewards.

2. I try to eat fruit before a main meal - let us say about half an hour beforehand. This helps to fill me up.

3. I brush my teeth straight after eating- this helps me to stop snacking afterwards- i.e. having a piece of chocolate. The minty taste of toothpaste seems to reduce my food cravings.

4. All the gurus tell you to eat slowly- well so slowly in fact that they say it takes about twenty minutes for the stomach to tell your brain that it is full! Imagine waiting 20 minutes between one helping and another! As this is hardly practical, I would just suggest you eat slowly.

5. Everybody tells us that we should NOT be doing another activity while we are eating. Why? Because apparently eating in the car or while watching TV distracts us so that we tend to eat more than if we were just giving all our attention to eating. Setting the table and making the meal an occasion helps as well.
