Advertising Tips - Coordinated Advertising
The name of the game is advertising. If people don't know your site exists, you can forget about getting anybody to see it. The problem many people have with advertising is that they don't know where to begin. Should they use pay per click? Should they use article marketing? Should they use solo ads? The answer to this question may or may not surprise you.
There is a fact about Internet advertising that most, if not all people refuse to admit or accept. That fact is very simple and can be summed up in one sentence.
No one form of advertising is a knock 'em out of the ballpark sure-fire way of getting massive traffic.
Take that statement and firmly implant it in your brain because it will be the most important thing that you will EVER learn about Internet advertising.
The truth is, all forms of Internet advertising have their good and bad points. For example, while pay per click advertising is extremely targeted, it can also be very expensive depending on how much competition you have for the keywords that you're targeting. With article marketing, while it is very cheap (actually free), it is more a long term process for getting people to your site. You won't see a massive increase in traffic right away. And with solo ads, while the cost is low, depending on the number of subscribers you're reaching, it is still a big gamble. You have no idea how responsive a certain ezine is.
So what's the answer? The answer is simple, and one that many people don't want to hear. You need a coordinated advertising effort in order to see substantial results on the Internet. One thing alone is not going to do it for you. Each form of promotion is going to reach certain people. For example, not everybody uses search engines so they won't see your pay per click ads. Not everybody searches for articles, so the people who don't also won't become your target. By focusing on as many forms of advertising as possible, in a sense what you are doing is putting out this huge spider web that is going to capture everything that it can.
Okay, so how do you go about doing this? Well, for starters, you need to make a list of all the sources of advertising that you can think of. Don't know any? Do a search on Google or your favorite search engine and look up "Internet Advertising Strategies." You'll find a number of things you can do.
After you have your list, do a little research on each method. Find out what's good and bad about each one. Find out what the costs involved are. Get as much education as you can before you plan your attack. Then, when you are fully prepared, decide which methods you're going to use based on the budget you have to work with and the amount of time you can spend.
The bottom line is simple. The more advertising you do, if it's targeted and well thought out, the more people you will get to your site. No one method is going to hit the jackpot every time.
To YOUR Success,
